Itty-Bitty: (3/4 year old):Children are introduced to beginner basketball concepts such as dribbling, passing and shooting. Hand eye coordination is developed as children burn energy becoming introduced to the sport of Basketball. This group will not participate in competitions against opponents. PreKindergarten/Kindergarten:Children are introduced to various basketball fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. Every week, coaches introduce a new skill or build upon the skill. The different type of passing is taught and various thematic, fun and silly games are played for practicing! Children are also introduced to game play, which consist of small sided games. Your children are going to work up a sweat, a great combination of fitness movements (shuffling, back pedaling, and sprint) will be focused on to build conditioning.
