East Granby Parks and Recreation is excited to announce our winter basketball program. The program will begin with practices, starting the week of December 7, 2026, and games will begin in January 2027. The East Granby Youth Basketball program is designed to provide a positive recreational basketball program for students in grades 3-8. The goals of the program are to teach the players the rules of the game, help them develop individual skills, foster teamwork, allow them to learn good sportsmanship, and to HAVE FUN! The program will give players an opportunity to play basketball with their friends and make new friends too. Team rosters may be kept specific to each grade, or multiple grades may be combined into one team, depending on the number of registrations received. If combined Grades 3-4, 5-6 & 7-8 will be combined)There will be 2 practices a week and the focus will be on instruction and team building within each group.
