Parent & Child Aquatics (Ages 6 months – 3 years) 5 Classes - No class on Saturday October 10, 2026. This fun, interactive class introduces children ages 6 months to 3 years to the water with the support of a parent or guardian. Through songs, games, and guided activities, children will: Build comfort and confidence in the water. Establish an expectation for adult supervision in and around water. Practice safe ways to enter and exit the pool. Explore submerging through rhythmic bobbing and blowing bubbles. Learn to glide on their front and back with assistance. All instructors are certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors Diaper Policy All children under 3.5 years old, and any child over 3.5 who is not toilet trained, must wear a disposable swim diaper. Swim diapers are available for purchase at the pool for $2.00. Water Temperature The pool is maintained at a recreational temperature of 80–82 degrees. Because infants and toddlers cannot regulate body temperature as well as adults, their temperature can change quickly in water. The pool recommends that young children wear a neoprene or warming swimsuit. Registration Registration is available in person or online on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the posted registration date. Payment is due in full at the time of registration. Registration closes at the end of the first week of lessons. All classes require a minimum enrollment to run.
