Fall Swim Lessons Session 2 2026 Registration Starts on Monday, October 19th at 10:00am for Somerville Residents Monday, October 26th 10:00am for Non-Somerville Residents Somerville Resident Fee is $50 for 6 weeks. Non-Somerville Resident Fee is $72.50 for 6 weeks. Classes start Monday, November 2ndWednesday, November 4thThursday, November 5th Monday 6 classes November 2nd - December 7th Wednesday 6 classes November 4th - December 16th NO CLASS NOVEMBER 11th Thursday 6 classes November 5th - December 17th NO CLASS NOVEMBER 26th Please check the website for availability and to register.If you have any questions, please reach out to us at aquatics@somervillema.govWe offer a variety of programs for all ages and abilities. Parent and Child classes for 6 - 36 months Preschool Classes for children 3 - 5 years old Youth Classes for children 5 - 12 years old Teen Classes for those 13-17 Adult Classes for those 18 and older Skill levels vary within age groups.Level 1: Swimmers who are still getting comfortable in the water and have low/no prior swimming ability.Level 2: Swimmers who are generally comfortable being in the water and submerging, but still have limited/low swimming ability.Level 3: Intermediate swimmers who know the fundamentals of arm strokes and leg kicks. Comfortable swimming short distances, submerging, and blowing bubbles through nose.Level 4: Proficient swimmers who need practice and technique adjustment.
